Sound of Mull
he Sound of Mull and the Western Isles of Scotland have arguably the most enjoyable dive sights in Britain. They certainly have the remotest of wrecks and the scenery is second to none.
Well known dive sites available from Lochaline which are included in our daily charter rates: Hispania, John Preston, Rondo, Meldon, Breda, Thesis, Shuna, Swan , Falls of Lora, The Garvellach Islands, Ardtornish Point, Pennygown Quarry, Tapti, Nevada, General Consul, Aurania, Ardmore Point, Auliston Point, Calve Island, Bo Fascadale, Danny's Buoy, Elizabeth Rock, Loch Sunart and the diving around the Isle of Muck.
The Gaelic Rose is owned by Bob Jones. She is a wooden fishing vessel converted for diving charters and cruising around the West Coat of Scotland. The boat is 60 ft long, accommodates 10 persons comfortably and is capable of speeds up to 8 knots.
She was originally built at the MacDuff Boatyard in Inverness-shire in 1960 and spent her early life seine netting off the East Coast of Scotland.
