Great Lakes 3 day fell run
While other TSAC members were diving out of Plymouth, three of our members were competing in the Great Lakes 3 Day fell running event.
Taken from the website this sums up the event;
‘Participants should expect mostly mountain trails and footpaths, along ridges and through valleys, rather than contouring, bee-lining and bogs. Unlike a mountain marathon or orienteering event with complex navigation, the emphasis is on long mountain journeys, spectacular scenery and enjoying an amazing mountain experience!’
Fell runner course
Daily average: ~33km / ~2400m
3-day total: ~100km / [~7000-7500m]
The ‘Fellrunner’ course is a great challenge for those looking to explore some remote parts of the Lake District. The distance and height gain make this a tough course, but the views will be ample reward.
The event takes place in the in the northern fells, amazing results with all three finishing 1st in their respective age groups.

Huge congratulations to all three of TSAC members.
