Capernwray training dive – first of the year
What could be better then to hold the first training dive of the year on a cold, wet, soggy day at Capernwray?
According to those who attended nothing could have been better.
It was a great turn out and superhuman effort given the wind and rain! It was special for Lisa as it was her first organised dive so to have such a good turn out made it all the better.
An impressive amount of training took place.
- Two dives were completed
- Joe did a DL rescue scenario
- New kit was tested
- Andy did his SD dive management
- Bobbie did his first OW dive
- JK joined the instructor team.
- Jen got player of the match for standing in the rain making sure we all got in and came out in one piece!
- Alf of course who had 2 trainees and was a diver in the rescue scenario.
So many great training activities and successes were gained during the day.
You never know Jen might even have defrosted and warmed up by now.
